The School of Biological Sciences is committed to excellence in teaching, research and service. With the purpose of preparing students for a wide range of career goals in biological and medical areas, the School's curricula define two undergraduate degree programs -- B.S. in Biology and B.S. in Medical Technology.

Within the Biology degree, concentrations are offered in Animal Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology and Plant Biology. Minors are available in Biology, Medical Technology, Microbiology, and Wildlife Conservation. Also, an interdisciplinary B.S. degree in Environmental Science is available. The graduate curriculum within the School leads to a Master of Science degree in Biology.

The faculty members in the School of Biological Sciences represent a wide diversity of expertise and research interests. Faculty are student oriented, and are dedicated to helping students acquire a strong academic foundation.
