Marvin T. Green Scholarships Announced
The School of Biological Sciences and the College of Applied and Natural Sciences recently announced recipients of the Marvin T. Green Scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year. Five undergraduate students were awarded this prestigious scholarship to aid in the cost of their studies at Louisiana Tech University. The students who compete for the scholarship are interested in pursuing admission to medical school, dental school, or other areas of health care, have a minimum GPA of 3.3, have completed at least 40 hours and no more than 100 hours of course work. Applications are reviewed and recommendations for awarding scholarships are made by a committee of Louisiana Tech faculty members from Biological Sciences and Biomedical Engineering.
