Recognizing Winter 2017 Graduates
The School of Biological Sciences was proud to recognize our Winter 2017 graduates in a reception for students and their families in University Hall on Friday, February 24. Faculty and fellow students were there to share in the celebration with graduates and their families. This quarter there were 18 undergraduates completing their degrees in Biological Science, Environmental Science, and Medical Technology and 2 graduate students completing their master’s in Molecular Science and Nanotechnology. Not everyone is able to attend the reception, but we enjoyed celebrating with those who participated today and we congratulate all students graduating this quarter wishing them much success in their future endeavors.
Students who attended today’s graduate reception were recognized by Biological Sciences Department Head, Dr. Bill Campbell. Laurence Dautel (far left) graduated with a BS in Biological Sciences, Demi Sandel (center) graduated with a BS in Biological Sciences, and Michael Smalling (far right) graduated with a MS in Molecular Science and Nanotechnology and was hooded by Biological Sciences Associate Professor, Dr. Jeff Shultz.
