The entry, titled “Medical Writing: A Flexible Career Choice,” focused on suggestions for pursuing a career in medical writing. For the piece, St.Amant – along with strategic communication consultant Alisa Bonsignore and medical editor Kelly Schrank – provided insights and opinions on different aspects of career paths in medical writing. The three were selected based on their work with the Health and Medical Communication Special Interest Group of the professional organization the Society for Technical Communication (STC). The objective of the article was to bring together perspectives from academia and industry to provide readers with a more comprehensive understanding of jobs in medical writing.
