Louisiana Tech’s School of Biological Sciences is hosting a seminar and reception for the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium (LUMCON)/Louisiana Tech internship program at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6 in University Hall, Room 134.
Biological Sciences assistant professor Dr. Jennifer Hill will give a seminar on coastal research titled “Tackling the Research Challenges of a Changing Coast.” Then students will take part in a poster session.
Snacks will be available.
All are invited to learn more about coastal research and about the projects and opportunities of this new internship program, which is open to Biology, Environmental Science, and Ag and Forestry students.
