Andrea Vargas is a Medical Laboratory Science major from Forest Hill. After graduation, Vargas plans to assist aspiring medical laboratory scientists in the classroom.

“Human Biology and medicine were topics that always intrigued me more than the other scientific fields. The pathophysiology class introduced me to the medical laboratory scientist’s profession,” Vargas said. “My career goal is to obtain a teaching position, whether in a hospital laboratory or a university, to assist aspiring medical laboratory scientists.”
