Monroe native Grant Davis chose Agricultural Business with a concentration in Plant Science as his major because of his  love of plants and the outdoors.

Davis has completed summer internships through Oak River Farms and Nutrien Ag Solutions.

“With guidance from Dr. Jackson, I have been able to apply many learned principles to my work in landscaping,” Davis said. “I hope to further this through the continued growth of the lawn and landscape company I co-own.”

Davis chose Louisiana Tech because of a tight-knit, family feeling and passion for teaching and agriculture.

“My experience on South Campus has been very special,” Davis said. “I never knew that I would learn so much about agriculture that I can now apply to my future endeavors. I am thankful for the community and contacts that I have made in my time at Louisiana Tech University.”
