Tarah Waggoner is a Health Informatics and Information Management major who resides in Columbia, LA. Tarah graduated from Louisiana Tech with a Bachelor of Health Informatics and Information Management Degree in the Spring of 2007. She has since pursued a career that has afforded her much experience within the field of Health Information Management. She has worked locally as well as nationally.  During this time, she discovered her passion for learning and growing while helping others to do the same. Therefore, Tarah decided to further her education in hopes that one day she will be afforded the opportunity to teach others as a college professor.  Tarah chose to participate in Louisiana Tech’s online Health Informatics courses in pursuit of a Master’s degree in order to work towards this goal.  She is excited for the future as she nears the end of her studies.
