Emily Buzulak graduated in May 2020 with her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and went on to complete the dietetic internship through Louisiana Tech University in May 2021.
“My passion for nutrition began in high school when I became interested in how foods directly affect the health and well-being of the human body,” Buzulak said. “During college, my passion expanded to global malnutrition and lessening the effects of world hunger in developing countries. It is my goal to be part of ending world hunger even if it is just as small as providing food to a community of hungry families.”
Buzulak is from all over the United States because of her father’s career in the Army.
“Ruston has felt like home for the past five years; the close knit ties to the professors and long-lasting friendships I have made during my time here at Tech have really formed a special place in my heart,” Buzulak said.
