Hannah Koenig is a native of Brentwood, Tennessee. She played softball at Louisiana Tech for three years and decided to major in Nutrition and Dietetics because of her passion for how food interacts with the human body.
“I have never doubted my decision to come here and have loved every minute of my time in Ruston,” Koenig said. “The human ecology department is full of some very special faculty, and my Nutrition and Dietetics professors have walked with me every step of the way. I would not have made it this far without them and all the time they have poured into me.”
Koenig said everyone in her major was so driven and passionate and helping others through the toughest classes. She plans to further her education in the health field in either nursing or dietetics.
“My goal is to help others in any way that I can, and I am confident a career in either one of these fields will allow me to do just that,” Koenig said. “My professors and this college have provided me with the tools to pursue a dietetic internship or an enrollment in a nursing school. I am forever grateful to my professors, the School of Human Ecology, and Louisiana Tech. I will Ever Loyal Be!”
