Dr. LaTosha Mollette, Family Nurse Practitioner, is a native of Shreveport, where she graduated from Caddo Parish Magnet High School.
Mollette attended the University of Louisiana-Monroe for her undergraduate studies where received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree. She later attended Louisiana Tech University where she obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing and then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Northwestern State University. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
In December 2020, Mollette received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Her synthesis project focused on the identification of the risk of opioid misuse in adult opioid naïve patients with acute pain. Using a holistic approach to promote healthcare, she focuses on the care of her patients as a whole, leading to shared decision making and improved health quality of her patients.
Mollette has been a Nurse Practitioner in a family practice setting for more than two years and was a Registered Nurse for more than nine years. Her nursing experience includes intensive care, behavioral health, and home health. Helping to contribute to the field of nursing, she is a member of multiple nursing organizations including the Louisiana State Nurses Association, Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Mollette is married to Pernell Mollette, and together they have three children. She is very active in her church where she sings on the praise team and participates in the health and wellness ministry. During her spare time, Mollette likes to spend time with family, shop, attend sporting events and watch the Hallmark channel.
