Dean’s Welcome

The College of Applied and Natural Sciences is a diverse college with schools or departments in agricultural sciences, biological sciences, forestry, health informatics and information management, human ecology, and nursing.

The College provides students with skills that will help them succeed in the workplace and beyond. Our students generally focus their work in natural resources or the health sciences. Faculty and staff help our students learn critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills, conduct research and inquiry, and then communicate their scientific advances effectively. Through service to local, state, national, and global communities, ANS students, faculty, and staff seek to increase the University’s impact on our world.
