Mallory (originally from Effie) completed her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana Tech University in 2019. She completed her APA-accredited internship training at Kansas State University Counseling Services and received post-doctoral training at Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas. Mallory’s clinical interests include anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, working with survivors of sexual assault, and personal growth and development. Mallory also enjoys teaching, supervision, and facilitating interpersonal process groups, as well as campus and community outreach. Mallory’s theoretical orientation is integrative, primarily consisting of existential and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies with adjunctive interpersonal process techniques. Mallory is a self-proclaimed Harry Potter geek. In her “free” time, Mallory enjoys reading (fantasy is a favorite), traveling, engaging in physical activity (especially if it involves competition), playing piano, jigsaw puzzles, game nights, and spending time with family and friends.
