Agricultural Education
One of only three Agricultural Education programs in the state, Louisiana Tech University has the only agricultural science teacher certification program in north Louisiana. The program is a collaboration between the College of Applied and Natural Sciences and the College of Education & Human Sciences. Hands-on learning experiences are taught by experts in both the fields of agriculture and education.
Diverse course choices include plant science, animal science, agricultural economics, agricultural mechanics, and natural resource management.

Graduate School Opportunities
Graduates of other fields who are interested in teaching agriculture and advising a Future Farmers of America chapter can enroll in the Master of Arts in teaching program to become certified.
