COLLEGE OF APPLIED & NATURAL SCIENCES

Veterinary School Showcase

The School of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry in the College of Applied and Natural Sciences at Louisiana Tech University will hold a Veterinary School Showcase for all Tech students interested in a career in Veterinary Medicine from 5:30-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11 in Lomax Hall.

The event will include a presentation with keynote speakers and refreshments. An opportunity to engage with current Louisiana Tech students for recruitment or other opportunities is also available.

Companies, agencies, and organizations that want to support and recruit pre-veterinary students should attend. To promote veterinary professional training and support, externship or internship opportunities, seasonal employment positions, or future job positions, you should join our 2020 event.

Louisiana Tech University has about 1,800 students enrolled in the College of Applied and Natural Sciences with approximately 200 students in the pre-veterinary program. Over the past 10 years, approximately 75 percent of students who apply to veterinary schools are admitted, and Tech graduates are currently enrolled in over 10 different veterinary schools in the US and the Caribbean.
