Early Childhood Education Center

The Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) is a preschool learning laboratory for 3- and 4-year-old children and is an integral component of instructional programming in the School of Human Ecology. The ECEC is an all-day program that can currently accept up to 34 children across two classrooms.

The ECEC maintains a five-star rating from the Louisiana Quality Star Rating system. The center received the highest CLASS ratings in the district (includes three parishes) for the 2016-2017 academic year and was recognized by the Louisiana Department of Education as an Excellent facility and given a Certificate of Honor, the highest acclamation the State of Louisiana awards to Centers and Schools.
